Thank AL Gov. Bentley, MS Gov. Barbour, and TN Gov. Haslam for proclaiming 4-11 National Healthy School Day.

Alabama Governor Robert Bentley, Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour, and Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam proclaim April 11, 2011 National Healthy Schools Day and healthier schools for children and personnel.

In 2012, governors in the eight states of EPA Region 4 will be asked by Children's Environmental Protection Alliance (CEPA) Director Nancy Swan to sign National Healthy Schools Day proclamations and may be the first EPA Region in the United States to do so.  EPA Region 4 includes
Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and 6 Tribes. 

Residents of Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee to help insure a favorable request by these governors for 2012 NHSDay proclamations, please call, email, or write let them and express your.

Compose your own letter or copy and paste the following letter:  Note that Mississippi does not use the word "National" in any proclamation.  Governor Barbour's proclamation reads, "Healthy Schools Day" and "Healthy Schools Week."  Tennessee Governor Haslam's proclamation reads, "National Healthy Schools Week."
